Long day of shopping and walking til we were dropping! Started by walking over to Rockefeller Center, where we had lunch at Tuscan Square. We went to St. Patrick's Cathedral, and popped over to Sak's as well. Next, we hit 5th Avenue and followed that, hopping from shop to shop. After a quick stop at Trump Tower, it was off to Bloomingdales. I bought 4 purses for, like, the prie of 1!!! Left there after an hour or so (with a pit stop for a drink) and headed to Times Square, in hopes of getting cheap show tickets at the TKTS booth. Turns out we were in the line for plays (not musicals as I had hoped). We went to Hershey's and I got limited edition white chocolate Take 5 bars.
As we were heading back to the hotel, we passed the Kerr and thought, "Maybe a play would be nice!" So we got tickets to the award-winning "Doubt" for the next night and headed back to the hotel. Since it was "pay what you want" day at MOMA, we headed uptown to the museum. I was surprised that they allowed people to take pictures (without flash, of course), which the Carnegie doesn't allow. We dodged the rain via taxi back to the hotel to head across the street for dinner. The service at Pigalle was horrible because the waiters were too busy staring at some "pretty girls". It was back to the hotel for dessert and much needed rest.
